DESCRIPTION
|

The E-H Series consists of a heavy duty sealed, Nema 13 enclosure within which an encoder is mounted. This rugged aluminum enclosure permits use of encoders, in applications such as rolling mill drives, oil well drilling, construction machinery and other equipment where accurate measurement of shaft position and or velocity are essential.

MECHANICAL
|
|
The enclosure's large diameter shaft runs in its own heavy duty sealed bearings. A flexible coupling connects the encoder shaft to the external working shaft. The enclosure shaft can accept radial loads of 100 lbs. and axial loads of 45 lbs.

ENVIRONMENTAL |
|
The sealed construction of the enclosure including the shaft seal effectively protect the encoders precision optical surfaces from dust, water, oil or other contaminants.
Digital Devices Series 2000 and 2500 encoders can be mounted inside the E-H Series enclosure.
